John-Paul (JP) McKerlie is the VP – Marketing and Sales at TOD, a new and gamechanging OTT Platform streaming sports & entertainment content for the MENA Region by the beIN Media Group.
With close to three decades of expereince across diverse sectors, JP has a stellar leadership record in executive positions across media, advertising, telecommunications, and the internet TV sectors. His business experience in the Middle East spans over two decades, where he helmed various executive level positions.
Prior to TOD, JP was the Chief Commercial Officer of Intigral, the media and advertising arm of STC group, managing their entertainment product JawwyTV and the sports entity Dawri Plus across the MENA region. A thorough business streatgist, JP has worked as the General Manager Partnerhsips & Innovation for Zain, KSA. And prior to Zain, he was the CEO for iflix Arabia, a joint venture between Zain group and iflix in MENA. His former work associations include organisations such as Ooredoo Qatar and Singtel Optus – Austarila.
JP has handled a variety of commercial positions throughout his career, assuring excellent year-over-year growth, thorough strategic planning, and tactical execution of annual operating plans to meet financial goals and raise productivity levels within the business.
He holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce from Macquarie University, and a Post Graduate Executive Certificate in Marketing Management from the University of Technology – Sydney.
JP likes to indulge in music, movies, and cooking in his free time. He is a voracious traveler, having visited more than 35 nations to date. He loves spending time with his family, and sites sailing as his favourite outdoor activity.
