Charles Balchin

With over 40 years of television production experience, Charles has seen the development of television from film and 2-inch tape to digital and 4K. He is currently Head of Special Projects at IMG Productions, which makes close to 20,000 hours of sports television a year, including Golf from the UAE and Saudi Arabia. A former Executive Producer at the BBC and Head of Special Projects at Sky Sports amongst his current IMG portfolio is the richest horse race in the world, The Saudi Cup in Riyadh. For IMG, he has also been involved in the World Rally Cross from Abu Dhabi, a documentary series for Al Kass and the Premier League coverage for Abu Dhabi Sport. A former Head of Sport at ART, MBC and Showtime, Charles has lived in both Dubai and Jordan.
